Poetically, Reciting, Entertainment, And, Creating, Heavenly, Art (PREACHA), is an acronym that I created to explain my gift, and to represent my stage name. My government name is Andre Williams, and I'm the youngest of three children born raised on Chicago's Westside. My mother and father would get divorced when I was only a year old, causing my siblings and I to be raised in a single parent household. Being the baby of the bunch did have it's benefits, but I was always crafting a new talent just to show my family that I had something to offer. This alone just may be the driving force behind me loving the stage today.

I was introduced to various genre of music at a young age, but it was Hip Hop that became my favorite. I spent countless hours appreciating and exploring the Hip Hop Culture. This brought on my love and respect for the art. Influenced by my peers I found my flow, created a name, and jumped in the game. Over the years I've been a solo act, and I tried things out in the group setting a few times, but being solo just seems to be a better fit for me. However I am a member of The Drama Ward a prominent Chicago Hip Hop crew, and I'm a founding member of The Lotus Mob a prominent Westside Hip Hop crew that was formed by some childhood friends and myself. The crews name was derived from the street Lotus, which many of our members lived on or near.  So keeping true to the block we created an acronym, Last Of The Unique Species, made up of a group of childhood friends who, grew up together, and are working together, to come up together.

Aside from  working with my crew I have worked with many other independent artist and labels. After building a rather impressive catalog of features I would often perform at many of the cities annual events such as Summer Fest, The Concerts in the Park Series, and The Taste of Austin. I have gain some momentum and a rather large following by staying true to my roots and performing for the city events as often as possible.

After sifting through endless possible tracks, I landed on the right collections and release my debut album independently. The album is titled “Ghetto Proud”, which served as a presentation of my appreciation of my meek upbringing. On this album you hear clever lyrics delivered over several very different type of tracks. This is because I purchased tracks from six different Chicago producers, symbolizing a sense of unity.

Armed with the undeniable heat of six producers and ambition, I hit the road performing in Chicago IL., Champaign IL.  Milwaukee Wi. and Detroit Mi, in an attempt to increase my fanbase. While my heart was in it, my wallet definitely wasn't, and I quickly learned that touring was more costly that I had imagined. Not to be deterred I've been using the internet to continue my growth in the industry.

After grinding tirelessly to stay relevant in Chicago for so many years, I decided to move west to see what I may be able to accomplish in a new environment. While here in Vegas I've been working on my next project which I planned to use to re-introduce myself to the world. Armed with the knowledge I gained from mistakes made in my past, I am working more diligently to deliver quality music to the world.
